B&B Tour and TasteLangley, Washington, USA
Early December
DescriptionThe Whidbey Island B & B and Taste is a one day self guided tour of lovely Bed and Breakfast Inns on Whidbey Island. South Whidbey Island is famous for its lovely Inns, B&Bs, and guest cottages. It has the highest density of small lodgings in the state of Washington. On the first Sunday of December each year between eight and ten of these special places decorate for the holidays, cook up a holiday treat, and open their doors to the public for a delicious peek.
Tickets are $15 and include a map with directions to the participating accommodations and a cook book cover. As they tour the participating B&Bs, Country Inns, and Guest Cottages, guests can sample a holiday or house specialty food item and collect the recipe page for their "cook book."
The tour takes between three and five hours depending on the location of the participating accommodations. It is a popular event, with a limited number of tickets available, so advance reservations are suggested.
