Haitian Cultural Awareness Week® The 18 Mail Committee, Inc. has been in the forefront of the movement to keep Haitian culture, history and traditions alive in the community. Through Haitian Cultural Awareness Week® (HCAW) we are building an infrastructure to share and teach the richness of Haitian history, tradition and culture through a week of activites throughout Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Rockland County, and New Jersey.
