Jacksonville Caribbean Carnival - Bringing the Caribbean to Jacksonville Saturday, October 24, 2009 Caribbean Style Mardi Gras Parade from 1pm Corner, Bay & Market Streets The parade showcases costumes featuring from Kings to nature’s creations, native dance, and the sweet sounds of calypso, compas, reggae, salsa, soca and steel drums can be heard throughout downtown Jacksonville. Spectators follow the parade to Metropolitan Park. Caribbean Food Festival & Concert until 10pm Metropolitan Park, 1410 Gator Bowl B'lvd., Jacksonville, Fl. 32202 Showcasing vendors providing Caribbean foods, artwork, music, drinks and various other goods. Stage show featuring live Caribbean bands, cultural performances. Tickets: $10.00, children under 10 FREE.
