KaNasie is a South African Music Festival. It will be held over two days, July 21-22, 2006, in Canmore (one hour west of Calgary in die Rocky Mountains). South African artists will perform the Friday evening as well as Saturday afternoon and evening. The purpose of this event is to create social interaction between fellow South Africans as well as to maintain their cultural heritage. Friday night will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Canmore and the Saturday will be held at Centennial Park, downtown Canmore. There will also be traditional South African food for sale as well as a craft market.
