Since opening its gates in 1988, Houston Raceway Park has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the premier motorsports facilities in North America.

The site of the first-ever sub-five second elapsed time performance in National Hot Rod Association history, professional and sportsman drivers have set a number of national records during major events held at the Park

The O’Reilly National, an NHRA race, starts with the Pit and Spectator Gates opening at 7 a.m. on Thursday and qualifying times starting at 8 a.m. On Friday and Saturday there are Elimination rounds and Qualifying sessions throughout the day. Sunday sees the pre-race ceremonies at 10 a.m., final eliminations are at 11 a.m. and the race at 4:30 p.m.
