Valhalla Fest is a free, annual music festival in Poland. We hold a special focus on blues, jazz and bluegrass music as well as giving local artists and crafts people an opportunity to display and/or sell their art or hold educational demos.
Performers
This is only the beginning, but so far:

Mystic Vibes-original roots reggae band from Portland Maine has played with such acts as:Jimmy Cliff, Toots and the Maytals, The Wailers, Third World, Morgan Heritage, and John Browns Body just to name a few. Give them a Listen!

Next Tribe- has gypsy world jam rock stylings spawned in Brooklyn, N.Y. In 2004, Next Tribe won Relix Magazine's Jam Off competition. Voted in the top 5 of over 200 nationwide entries for best new band. Jambase.com, The Village Voice and many other respected musical publications have all jumped on to support this unique hybrid with great reviews.Give Them a Listen!

Existo Ego- is an action/adventure savvy band, with the sounds of jazz, Fusion, Progressive rock, Funk and Metal from Augusta, Maine. Give Them a Listen!

Bugs Meany & the Tigers- is a Saratoga Springs, NY based trio from comprised of Amanda Platt (Banjo, guitar, vocals), Katie McEachen (fiddle, vocals), and Andrew Platt (Bass). Give Bugs Meany a try, and they just might knock your socks off. Give Them a Listen!

Idette and the Sun Runners- is a a Female-fronted, five piece Band that finds it's roots in a wide variety of music including rock, blues, bluegrass, folk and funk. The Band is based in Burnt Hills, N.Y. Give Them a Listen!

DIRECTIONS FROM THE MAINE TURNPIKE: Get off exit 11 [Gray]. Take a right off the exit. Take Route 26 into Poland. Look for Route 122 on your right [right before "The Village Kitchen" store]. Take a right onto Route 122. Follow untill you see Empire Rd on your left. [If you get lost, ask for Range Pond State Park- it's on Empire rd]. Follow Empire for quite a way, untill you see Harris Hill Rd on your left. Take a left onto Harris Hill rd and then a few hundred feet down the road on your left you will see 47. Welcome to Valhalla Fest. DIRECTIONS FROM AUBURN, ME: Head down Minot ave into Poland. Look for Minot Country Store (red) on your left. DIRECTLY BEFORE that will be Empire rd on your left. Follow Empire rd untill you come to a set of train tracks- directly after the tracks is Harris Hill Rd on your right. Take that right, and a few hundred feet down the road on your left is 47. Your at Valhalla Fest.
