DescriptionThe Oakdale Chocolate Festival was born in 1993, and continues every year on the 3rd weekend in May, at Wood Park, at the junction of Hwy 120 and 108, from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. The festivities include fine music, entertainment, arts and craft booths, and assorted food booths. But the main event is Chocolate Avenue, where vendors show their wares of cakes, cookies, ice cream, fudge, toffee, truffles, cheesecakes, chocolate shakes, and candies. This is the place to try free samples and buy confections of all kinds. Also offered in the Chocolate Festival are a Kids Land, filled with entertaining rides and games, A Classic Car show, and a Fun Run. Admission to the Festival is $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for Seniors, and children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.
