Race Car: The Science of Speed Exhibit

The science and technology of this sport of speed will be explored. This exhibit will explore the cars, their operation and their drivers including: tire changing, designing for less wind resistance and safety. It will include a full-size roll cage, which is a major safety feature in the cars. The exhibit comes form the Maryland Science Center. A program demonstration will be offered for school groups.
