Betty Griffin House, Orthopaedic Assoc of St. Augustine, Ability Rehab, Prosperity Bank, Tania R. Schmidt-Alpers, P.A., Oasis Fitness First Management and Holiday Inn on St. Augustine Beach, host the Fourth Annual Race for Love 10K, Saturday, May 15 at St. Augustine Beach. Schedule of events include a scored 10K run, non-competitive 5K run, and one-mile fun run/walk for the entire family! These events were initiated by friends and family of Sue Cady who was murdered October 3, 1999. Other victims of domestic violence in St. Johns County honored in the memorial include Laura Messina, Jeannine Gray, Blossom Redding and Seven Bently, all of whom were murdered as result of a domestic violence incident. Executive Director of Betty Griffin House, Beth Hughes, stated “Being involved in the ‘Race for Love’ Run is on way for all of us to memorialize the victims of abuse in St. Johns County; at the same time we are reminded to do all we can to end the cycles of abuse.”

10K will start at 8:00 am prompt!!! All other events will start shortly thereafter.
Admission & Parking
Registration fees are $15 for the 10K run and $10 for the 5K run or one-mile walk/run. Register by May 5 to receive fee discount! For Race Day Registration 7:00 am Holiday Inn Poolside. 10K registration fee is $20 day of race The 5K and Walk are $12. Beach Access to hotel is located at the Ocean Trace Blvd. Beach Ramp.
