Hundreds of kites dance in the sky in Zilker Park to celebrate spring and our 78th annual celebration. There is no cost to participate. Hand made kites are eligible for entry. So, bring the whole family to fly your kites or watch the festivities. Concession's proceeds benefit programs for abused and neglected children.
Performers
Each year a nationally known kite flyer - maker - artist is invited as a guest of the event. Thousands of Texans come to see their aerial art and engineering.
