ENCORE is a casual family festival held the third Saturday in July, the day after Zoobilee. ENCORE was designed for families to enjoy the décor and setting of Zoobilee in an alcohol-free festival, showcasing the entire Zoo. ENCORE hosts a main stage concert appropriate for all ages; magicians, mimes, and jugglers; and a game area featuring kid¹s karaoke, carnival games, and a basketball free-throw contest. In addition to all these activities. ENCORE still focuses on education with live animal encounters, informative activity booths presented by such organizations as the Red Cross and Campfire, and the Zoo¹s own hands-on interpretive activities. Plus, ENCORE offers a variety of family-friendly foods available for only $1-$3. Come join the fun!
