Stacey has made friends and fans across the west with her engaging performance of acoustic guitar-based folk rock. She’s been described as “An award winning singer/songwriter with intelligence, wit and soul”, by Singer-Songwriter.com. This year has seen the completion of her most recent studio work, ‘Look To The Sun’. She’s had the pleasure of working with some amazing talent on this CD, including lapsteel from noted guitarist Dylan Schorer, as well as fiddle performances and production assistance from the incredible Kate MacLeod. The CD is being mastered by Mark Hallan (Carole King, Patty Griffin, Lyle Lovett, Eliza Gilkyson) and should be ready for release in September 2006. She is currently touring with her highly praised 2004 release Hybrid. Stacey has had the great pleasure of being selected to open for Patty Larkin, John Gorka and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band as well as the Flatlanders. For the past three years running Board has been voted “Best Folk/Acoustic” performer in Utah by the reader’s of the Salt Lake City Weekly. She loves performing live and is a very hard working woman. Since her arrival in Utah in 1998 she has been performing regionally almost non-stop, giving over 150 performances a year in Utah and over half a dozen surrounding states.
