Ronnie Baker
Baker is a natural on stage. It's a second home to him as he works the audience into a frenzy on the fast numbers and slows them down for one of his signature ballads. His timing is impeccable and the audience rides the waves of emotion with him as he takes them through his repertoire of original tunes. Mix the vocal stylings of Hank Williams Jr. and John Conlee, throw in some dynamic songs, and add a touch of great production and "BAM"- Ronnie Baker has all the ingredients that make his self titled debut one heck of a treat. With a terrific song selection for a debut CD, this North Carolina native, uses his rich baritone voice to do each song proud from the heartrending "Don't Blame Love" and "How Far Do I Have to Fall" to the humorously written "One Bar Town" and "Something in Your Eyes." Baker has range and goes even further to prove it on the jazzy ballad "My Heart's Not Playing Anymore." Besides for a great song selection, another notable is the great production done by Charlie Allen and Greg Perkins, who not only produced the CD but are also credited with writing much of the CD's tracks. For a debut CD it is rare for an artist to have an impressive 15 songs come out from the starting gate. Still, with his single "Somebody Stole the Sun" climbing the charts, an auspicious debut CD, and rave reviews for his live shows, we'll have to keep on eye on what Ronnie Baker is cooking up next. But for now, Ronnie Baker's self titled CD is a musically appetizing. . CONTACT Michael Zeller/ MDZ Management Group http://www.mdzeller.com/ 214-725-875
