Larger-than-life helium balloons, fantastic floats and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be coming your way on Saturday, December 5th in Downtown Lincoln. The holiday season would not be complete without the Star City Holiday Parade produced by Updowntowners and the City of Lincoln. The Parade has a 25-year history of bringing holiday cheer to our community and is the largest holiday parade in the region! Join us at this cherished tradition as we celebrate our whimsical dreams, our special memories from the past and our grand wishes for the future. Bring the whole family and be truly enchanted as you see spectacular fantasy-filled floats, gigantic helium balloons, magnificent animal entries and talented bands parading down the street. Our parade ends with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa and his most dedicated elves as well as the U.S. Postal Service will collect your letters to Santa along the Parade route. Make sure you include a return address, and he will be sure to write you back before the holidays!
