Description:
This years Wintersköl Celebration marks its 59th Anniversary. Winter “sköl,” Aspen’s annual “toast to winter,” dates back to a quiet January in 1951 when local Aspenites decided to celebrate Aspen’s unique Nordic lifestyle with an eclectic weekend of festivities.

Winterskulpt, Canine Fahion Show, Apple Strudel Downhill, Soupsköl Cookoff, clowns, Rail Jam Competition, facepainters, Wintersköl Parade, live music, Hike for Hope, Fireworks Extravaganza & much more!

Directions:
From Denver, Aspen is 220 miles or approximately 3-1/2 hours via I-70 West to Glenwood Springs. Aspen is due east on Highway 82. From Grand Junction, Aspen is an easy 2-1/2 hour drive east on I-70 connecting with Highway 82 in Glenwood Springs. From Eagle Vail, Apen is about 70 miles or approximately 1 hour & 40 minutes travelling I-70 West to Glenwood Springs.
