Description:
Sun 'n Fun has become the second largest fly-in in the world, patterned after, and surpassed only by, the Experimental Aircraft Association Convention (AirVenture) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The EAA is an organization for people who build and fly their own planes.
This event includes daily airshows, hands-on workshops, a media reception, many banquets and dinners, nightly movies, a 7 a.m. balloon launch on Saturday, a program on Aviation Heritage, a dance, fly-in receptions, a fish fry, a barbecue and more. You can also enjoy our Year-round aviation museum, Florida Air Museum during your visit. Check the Web site for a full list of all activities..
Performers:
Sun 'n Fun attracts some of the most professional aerobatic pilots from around the world to perform daily. An night time airshow is usually scheduled for one evening during the week.
