Juneteenth celebrates the universal idea of Freedom with 4 days of excitement and fun. Featuring an Education Village, Healthcare Village,Childrens Day Camp,2 Entertainment Stages, Drum Circle, Multi-cultural vendors that travel from all across the country and parts of Africa showcasing food, exquisite art, music and culturally relevant specialty items. There is also a 4 year college scholarship fund in honor of Marilyn Griffith Turner (currently worth $166,000)awarded to deserving students. In 2007, Juneteenth received the Pride Cultural Arts and Education Non-Profit Award sponsored by Lowes Home Improvement & Goodys Headache Powder.
