DescriptionCelebrate St. Patty’s with Chocolate & Beer
Kiss Me I’m Irish Run™
Saturday March 17, 2013 - WestGate City Center, Glendale Arizona
Most folks associate beer with St. Patty’s but what does chocolate have to do with it? Over 200 pounds of chocolate will be given out to participants in the west valley’s newest run/walk – Kiss Me I’m Irish Run™, to be held on Sunday March 17th at WestGate City Center in Glendale Arizona.
Every Kiss Me I’m Irish participant will receive a great big kiss as they cross the finish line - a one and a half ounce candy kiss! And the winner in every age division of all three races (17K, 8K and 4K) receives a medal and a giant 8 ounce candy kiss.
It’s a family-friendly celebration of St. Patty’s Day, with a special Dad’s & Lad’s division to support Prostate Cancer. Participants in the 4k “four leaf clover” run/walk will receive t-shirts and the opportunity to win prizes if they find the lucky shamrocks. The first 1,700 to register for the 17k and 8k will receive green technical shirt made of bamboo - soft, absorbent, breathable, thermo-regulating, hypoallergenic and eco-friendly! Leashed pets are welcome.
Festivities begin at 530am with on site packet pickup and Irish Music. After the run/walk, all participants over 21 are invited to McFadden’s Irish Pub to enjoy a complimentary beer and a discounted traditional Irish Breakfast.
Pre-registration $40 (17K/8K) and $25 (4K). For more information, call (480) 609 3978 or see www.irishrunaz.com
