Welcome to The Gathering of Gardeners - an "earthy" event designed to motivate, educate, and inspire gardeners of all ages and stages. Whether you're growing veggies or flowers, we have something for everyone.

The event starts on Friday evening with an opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to attend a Speaker’s Dinner and hobnob with the festival’s main presenters. The profits from this event will be donated to the Food for Lane County charity.

Events really kick off on Saturday and Sunday, with presentations by the speakers and on-going workshops and demonstrations, covering everything from nematodes to attracting fairies to your garden. Combine this with over 50 vendors of plant material and garden art plus live music and you have a festival that anyone interested in gardening will love.

And there’s more! Bring the whole family, because there are plenty of attractions for everyone. Contests being sponsored include Schnitzer Steel’s Art From Anything, being garden art made entirely from recycled materials and Territorial Seed Company’s Great Northwest Tomato Taste Off. There will be exotic animals from Wildlife Safari on hand for the kids, and lots of fun gardening projects for busy hands, even a workshop on drawing garden cartoons!

Completing the festival atmosphere will be food vendors, exhibits and lots of prizes, including a Grand Prize to be awarded on Sunday.
