The Oxford's Town BBQ Throwdown is a Memphis Barbecue Network sanctioned BBQ cooking contest with over $18,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded. Backyard cookers will be a able to enter the Patio Porker division. The public will have the opportunity to taste the competitive BBQ in the People's Choice contest. For those not competing, there will be live blues music, a carnival, and concessions. The Oxford Town BBQ Throwdown has also been chosen by Y'all Magazine to host one of their annual Sweet Tea Challenges.
