The Harlem Renaissance Festival may well be the best cultural arts and history festival for the people of our great Prince Georges County and surrounding areas. This one day cultural festival attracts more than 12,000 festivalgoers. The scope of this cultural event has been nurtured and vitalized through the collaborative participation of our entire community. The Harlem Renaissance Festival is dedicated to the conviction that we must built strong minds in our children so that they may have the opportunity to define their role in society based on postive truths and knowledge of their heritage, and the many significant contributions of the African American to American culture. Three outdoor stages, indoors discussion area, museum displays and so much more. Childrens activities, health fair, food and craft vendors.
