San Francisco has been celebrating Halloween for 49 years in the Castro Disrtict every year without any formal planned activities. The City of San Francisco decided it was time to create the San Francsico Halloween Festival that would provide people with an Halloween treat. After eight months of planning the different program elements were designed and created to give people an interative experince during Halloween in San Francisco.
