Celebrate the Arts on the beautiful Corpus Christi bayfront, the jewel of the South Texas coastline. The Festival of the Arts, celebrated annually during the last weekend in March, offers endless blue skies, cool gulf breezes and a beautiful waterfront view. Free event.
FREE 3 day event will again include the creation of a 15 ft x 15 ft Italian Street Painting by internationally recognized artists. Patrons will enjoy presentations by artistic and cultural individuals who provide exciting arrays of talent in continuous performances of contemporary & folk dance, independent film/cinema, ballet, theatre, musical entertainment,sand sculpturing,an the popular art-full KidZone. The 2012 Festival of the Arts will showcase two juried exhibits:

The Unsung Heroine - Juror Melida Buentello Olivo
Showcasing local, national and internationally recognized vending artisans from across the U.S. are juried through zapplication.com, workshops, lecture/demos, food vendors, and tram tours of the downtown Public Art collection, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Various genres of talented individuals and groups presenting Music,Dance,Theate, and Independent Cinema. Fine art sales. Art-full KidZone.
