Since 1991, the annual grape harvest in the Western Connecticut Highlands wine region has been celebrated at the Litchfield Hills Harvest Festival. Held at Haight-Brown Vineyard, Connecticut's oldest winery, this family-friendly festival features hay rides, pony rides and grape stomping contests for kids; shopping, wine sampling and winery tours for adults; plus hearty harvest fare for everyone.
