Tampa Bay International Curry Festival
Tampa, Florida, USA
TBICF will feature curries prepared by people from all over the world. The overall theme at the Festival will be to spotlight the varieties of amazing curry cuisines, music, food preparation seminars and demonstrations, music performances, and adult beverages that are paired with curries. Taste your way around the world at the event of flavor.
All guests are invited to taste samples or go for the full plate option from over 50 food vending operations that line the park in the outdoor setting. Along with culinary favorites prepared from the US, India, Africa, Thailand, China, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Canada and England and parts of the Caribbean. TBICF is free to attend.
Cooking demonstrations by the area’s top chefs offer guests the full culinary experience with opportunities to eat and learn. Participating vendors, cooking experts and chefs from national and local restaurants take turns throughout the weekend demonstrating their craft making the Festival as much about the culture of food as it is about consumption.
Music and dance are not confined to the stage as groups roam the site throughout the weekend, providing entertainment. The festival is kid and family friendly. The Festival will close out the evening with energetic live music on the main stage.
Vendors may offer guests a recipe card, detailing the ingredients and directions on making one of their favorite culinary delights at home. By collecting recipe cards at each vendor’s booth, guests can go home with an entire world curry cookbook. Performers
