West Valley Island Cultural Festival
Glendale, Arizona, USA
The First Annual West Valley Island Cultural Festival celebrates Polynesian culture: music and dance performances and classes for music, dance, and lectures. The festival will feature Arizona’s finest Polynesian music, teachers, and dance performers, as well as the best local Polynesian food vendors, offering attendees a showcase of Polynesian music and culture.
During this one day of immersion, attendees will have the opportunity to experience and appreciate the great diversity of Polynesian music, dance, and culture, discover new Polynesian art forms, meet participants who share the same interest and passions, and find opportunities to get involved. This will be the first event of its kind in Arizona’s West Valley. The festival will be a one day event that we plan to have every year and will increase it to a two-day event.
There will also be a Singles Corner (Singles Mix & Mingle)!! Single women are encouraged to wear a flower behind your right ear in keeping with the Hawaiian custom, to let men know that you are available!! If you are single this will be your chance to meet other singles and perhaps make a romantic connection!!Performers
