Description
I cordially invite you to attend in Eastern Washington’s Largest Wine, Food & Culinary Event, Savor the Flavor 2009. Something special happens to the Tri-Cities in the fall. Aside from the ever-present beautiful weather, start of American Hockey fever and holiday buzz, the city’s culinary community is electrified by the next installation of Eastern Washington’s largest wine, food and culinary festival. Now in its third year, Savor the Flavor: A Culinary Experience is a showcase of the Region’s premier wine, beer and spirit producers, chefs and culinary personalities, unique restaurants, cooking and wine classes, kid activities and kitchen/cooking-related products. Produced by TASTE Tri-Cities Magazine, the event benefits Oasis School, the small school for big minds in Richland, WA, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. A world-class wine, food and culinary extravaganza, the two-day event joins tastemakers from all aspects of the food and wine industry: Food Network Celebrity chefs, sommeliers, vintners and retailers 20 winemakers, spirit companies and breweries over 30 local culinary artisans and their fine restaurants media personalities and more. Come for lunch and stay for dinner at Savor the Flavor’s Mid-Columbia Flavors tasting pavilion. The chefs of favorite Tri-Cities area restaurants will serve up appetizer portions of their signature recipes. Beer, wine and spirits will be well represented as well, where you can sip and taste a variety of different beverages. For a nominal charge ($1 - $3) per taste/bite you will be able to savor the flavors of numerous eateries, wineries, breweries and distilleries. Held at the TRAC in Pasco, WA during the warm yet crisp autumn days of November, the festival is flanked by a backdrop of vines turning brilliant colors and breath-taking desert sunsets over the Columbia River shores which perfectly set the event’s tone. Just in time for the year’s most profitable season with Thanksgiving cooking tips and a guest appearance by chef Santa Claus himself to inspire holiday cheer, Savor the Flavor: A Culinary Experience will be held November 13 & 14, 2009.
