Mayfest is a beloved four-day annual Fort Worth community tradition that attracts 200,000+ people during the first weekend of May. Mayfest has grown to span 33 acres in beautiful Trinity Park and boasts something for everyone and every age while never forgetting its traditions and its mission – • The Art & Gift Market Area typically showcases over 40 booths of local talent and gifts as well as a School Art Competition awarding cash prizes, • Children’s Area with 20 booths of free activities for children ages 3 to 12, • The Sports Area with sports themed entertainment for patrons of all ages, • The Zone Teen Area with everything the teenager enjoys, • The Riverbank Area held right along the Trinity River banks with music entertainment and activities, • Seven stages of entertainment from dance to music groups from the greater Fort Worth area and more. In fact, over 224 hours of entertainment provided by over 135 performing groups on seven stages are at Mayfest each year, • And, of course, Mayfest offers a delectable selection of marvelous festival food and a wide selection of beverages.
