DescriptionBig Island Film Festival celebrates independent narrative filmmakers and their movies during the four days of the Film Festival. Includes narrative features and shorts from around the world, social events, Hawaiian culture, filmmaking panels, awards brunch and Best of the Fest Concert and showing of Audience Choice Feature and Short. Nighttime movies under the stars. One of the nightime movie venues shows family friendly movies. Best of the Fest Party and Concert includes a silent auction to benefit Wounded Warrior Project. Selected in 2007 (our second year) by MovieMaker as one of "Twenty Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee". The whole festival takes place in the beautiful Waikoloa Beach Resort and is wrapped in the Spirit of Aloha.
