Black Mountain Productions Inc., and Urban Culture Magazine presents: The annual Indie Music Fest, April 27-28, 2012, at: The Henderson Pavilion, Green Valley-Las Vegas, Nevada. This two day competition showcase themed: The East Coast Vs. The West Coast, is a unique and special event, with a special element of celebration for the indie artist. We will have artists competing: 20 Hip Hop, R&B, Urban Artists (10 from the West Coast and 10 from the East Coast) and 20 Rock, Pop, Alternative Artists (10 from the West Coast and 10 from the East Coast). One of the best artists from the Hip Hop, R&B or Urban categories and one from the Rock, Pop or Alternative categories will be chosen. This celebration will include:

40 of the best indie artists will perform (20 from the East Coast and 20 from the West Coast) The event will be Live Video TV Streamed across the country Providing Shuttle Service to the 28,000 UNLV Student body (to and from the event) Musicians Red Carpet event Artist Merchandise Sales and Fan Appreciation area 2 of the best selected artists will each receive a $45,000 value in music resources Music Industry VIP Competition Judges VIP Lounge with swag offerings Headline Artists with special guest appearances 2 Music Industry Round Table Panels (*Presented by some of the best music producers and organizations in the business*) Launching the Nevada Chapter of the Indie World organization The Indie Fest Model Search Competition The Indie Fest 5K Run benefiting: Habitat For Humanity Food Drive benefiting: Three Square-Feeding America Food and Drink Vendors And so much more!

Also, in 2012, two lucky artists, one from the East Coast and one from the West Coast, will be selected, to walk the Red Carpet at The 22nd annual Los Angeles Music Awards event and each will receive a Producers Choice Award for their achievements. Let the celebration begin!
