DescriptionThe Burton Heritage Society and Burton Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual Ranger Day in historic Burton, Texas at the Burton Railroad Depot, 507 N Railroad Street, on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Celebrate Burton’s history with a day full of activities including tasty food at the Annie Maud Avis Memorial Fajita and Bean cook-off, a chance to experience 1880s Texas Ranger Camp life, see folk life demonstrations, try your hand at crafts and an archaeological dig, compete in the bean bag toss tournament and tour the historic Depot, as well as the Cotton Gin (10am & 2pm). The night-time fun includes a Live Auction and Street Dance with TEXAS MUSIC ARTISTS, the Anthony Moreno Band and the Wooten Marshall Band from 7pm till ??
