The fourth Saturday of October the country celebrates Make A Difference Day. The Wheaton Chamber participates by hosting Stuff-A-Truck to benefit Peoples Resource Center. Chamber members conduct the food drive throughout the month of October. On Make a Difference Day we transport our collection with a parade through town to Illinois Institute of Technology 201 E. Loop Road (Southside!) where we gather to celebrate our community with a FREE old fashioned fun festival! Inclement weather will not deter us! We will move inside Illinois Institute of Technology. For the health of our community, we strongly encourage and greatly appreciate the donation of food high in nutritional value. These foods may be high in fiber and low in sodium, fat or added sugar.
