DescriptionCurrently, the Black Heritage Art Show is the largest African American celebratory event held in the Mid-Atlantic region in the month of February (Black History Month), attracting more than 170,000 attendees since its inception in 1995. The Black Heritage Art Show has provided a venue that allowed Visual/Performing Artists and Craftsmen to bring their works to market in the Mid-Atlantic Region and at the same time allow Baltimoreans the opportunity to celebrate African American history and culture collectively during Black History Month. The show’s theme each year is: “A Celebration of African American Culture.”
Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, Visual Arts Marketing Corporation, owned and operated by Milton and Glenda Boone is a nationally recognized, innovative management consulting firm specializing in event, strategic planning and multi media publicity managment. Since its inception , the show has expanded to include poetry readings and Gospel and Jazz performances. In a nutshell, the Black Heritage Art Show is A Celebration of African-American Culture presented by the Community for the Community
