The purpose of the Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival is to promote enjoyment and understanding of the outdoors through art, crafts, entertainment, demonstrations, fun and games. The festival also celebrates the Big Haynes Creek Nature Center and all the outdoor activities it offers to the public. The event appeals to the entire family as it offers wildlife exhibits, demonstrations, hands-on activities, local performances, children’s activities, arts, crafts and more. This event also includes a Birds of Prey Show, Reptile Shows, and a Living History exhibit. The festival also includes an Artist Market featuring hand-made items. Another portion of the festival features commercial displays from various types of companies that provide ways for people to enjoy the outdoors. Children can enjoy themselves on many rides, games, and art activities.
The Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival features wildife and educational shows throughout the day on the main stage. Entertainment is also offered on a secondary stage featuring bands, dancers, and childrens shows.
