The San Francisco Vegetarian Society presents its 13th World Veg Festival on Oct. 6-7, 10a.m. to 6p.m. at SF County Fair Bldg, Golden Gate Park (Lincoln and 9th Ave). SFVS will also be host to the 40th IVU international delegation to be held in San Francisco. $10 admission. FREE admission to children under 12 yrs old seniors over 65.FREE admission from 10-10:30 a.m.
Guest speakers, cooking demos, intl vegetarian cuisine, food samples, educational exhibits on health, humane and environmental topics.Exhibits close at 7 p.m., Saturday catered dinner, entertainment and music.

From the East Bay - Napa, Solano, Contra Costa, and Alameda Counties (80)
Entering San Francisco from the Bay Bridge, Hwy. 80 South, exit at Ninth Street-Civic Center. Turn left (west) onto Harrison Street, drive one block and turn right (north) onto Ninth Street. Drive 4 long blocks and cross Market Street, turning left (west) onto Hayes Street. Drive 4 blocks and turn left (south) onto Gough Street, go one full block and turn right (west) onto Fell Street. Continue 19 blocks to Kezar Drive (past Masonic, get in the left lane of Fell and continue straight as Fell veers to the left here and becomes Kezar Drive). Continue driving Kezar Drive as it veers to the right and becomes Lincoln Way. Drive 6 blocks until pass 9th Ave. There is a small gate to your right for temporary parking, loading and unloading for the event. Our volunteers for vendor registration will greet you.
