Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival

Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival
Oak Hill, New York, USA
Mid July
Description
Each year during the third weekend of July, bluegrass enthusiasts from far and wide gather at the picturesque Walsh Farm in the Catskill Mountains for a weekend of bluegrass bliss known as the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival. Renown for its award-winning lineup, breathtaking setting, round-the-clock picking, impeccable organization and friendly staff, Grey Fox ranks #1 among thousands of bluegrass fans.

With several performance stages and learning programs, Grey Fox has something for the whole family. The legendary Catskill Stage delivers four days of the nation’s top bluegrass and acoustic artists. Around the grounds, fans can enjoy intimate mini-concerts at the Creekside Stage, kick up their heels at the Catskill Stage, and be mesmerized by clowns, magicians and storytellers at the Family Stage, where a Ringling Brothers clown even teaches an annual crop of young ‘clownees’ his tricks of the trade!

For budding musicians, Grey Fox also offers daily hands-on learning sessions and slow jams for adults at the Grass Roots Tent and an intensive four-day Bluegrass Academy for Kids.
