Avalon Bikes, Blues & BBQ 2014
Paw Paw, West Virginia, USA
The first weekend of June begins Avalon Resort’s Summer Concert series. On June 6, ‘Bikes, Blues & BBQ’ returns to Avalon, ‘Your getaway to the friendliest clothing-optional resort!’ There is a full weekend of food, fun, bikes, music and activities including guided area rides, motorcycle show, food, live blues band and a DJ dance. Avalon is proud to have the event once again be registered with the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Part of the admission proceeds will be donated to that organization.
The fun begins on Friday, June 6. There will be guided area rides Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Come early, stay late and enjoy all Avalon Resort and this event have to offer.
On Saturday the Avalon front lawn is the site of the 14th annual Motorcycle Show sponsored by Montgomery Motors. There is no extra fee to enter a bike into the show. Trophies will be awarded in several classes plus ‘Best in Show’. So grab your suntan lotion, your bike or just your love of bikes, great food/drink and a lot of fun and join us for a great time!
Throughout the day on Saturday there will be a variety of food available featuring mouth-watering BBQ. The outdoor bar will be open serving draft beer along with other favorites. In addition to the great Bikes and BBQ there will also be on the outdoor stage live Blues music provided by the band ‘Bushmaster’ featuring Gary Brown (www.bushmasterblues.com). The night ends with a DJ dance.
There is no extra fee to register a bike into the motorcycle show. The price of admission for non-members bringing a bike to the event is $20 for 2 people with $5 going to the WWP. Admission for non-members without a bike is $20 per person with $5 going to the WWP.
