For one weekend each year, Milwaukee shows off at the Lakefront Festival of Arts! The Festival is considered one of the nation’s premier art festivals, and features the jury selected work of 170 talented artists. All this beauty and fun too! The festival showcases artist demonstrations, tempting culinary treats, renowned musicians and a children’s area. Celebrating its 47th anniversary this summer, the festival has consistently attracted a wide range of guests, from art connoisseurs to those who simply appreciate things of great beauty and want to relax along the shoreline with the beautiful Santiago Calatrava addition as its backdrop.
