Downtown Helena is proud to present the 8th annual Mount Helena Music Festival (MHMF) set to promote the growth and vitality of the Helena community by providing a variety of music and arts for the enjoyment and participation of all ages.
The Mount Helena Music Festival is two-stage festival located in the heart of Downtown Helena in the beautiful tree setting of Women’s and Hill Park at the foot Mount Helena. The MHMF offers a wide variety of live entertainment, music and activities as the audience enjoys two alternating stages featuring 16+ hours of nonstop music from 10 of the hottest regional and national touring bands. The Sidewalk Art will be celebrating its 34th anniversary as 80 crafters showcase their hand-made crafts and art. Food booths will line Fuller Avenue offering a variety of tastes and menus as well as a multitude of non-alcoholic beverages, domestic and micro-beers and wines. On Saturday morning enjoy the charming Farmers Market featuring a wide selection of home grown produce and baked goods.
Profits from the MHMF will assist the funding for the new "Large Art Campaign" to place life-size branzes along the historic Walking Mall featuring native wildlife of Montana as an and education exhibit and destination. The Large Art Campaign will be a five year project to complete. Each year new exhibits will be unveiled along the three-block pedestrian mall.

Women’s & Hill Park are located in the heart of Downtown Helena at the intersection of Neill & Fuller Avenue. The parks are located ½ south of Highway 12 also signed as Euclid and Lyndale Avenues. Neill Avenue is the cross street can be accessed either by Benton Avenue or Last Chance Gulch, Neill is the first light south of Highway 12. Free public parking is available at the Helena Civic Center and Great Northern Town Center Parking Facility located on Getchel and 14th Streets.
