OUTDOOR MUSIC FESTIVAL & Progressive County Fair Ongoing music, art, Green environmental and sustainable lifestyle festival with 350 exhibitors and vendors. Music and speakers on five stages with dozens of bands and performers. Music genres include Rock, Blues, World Beat, Reggae, Americana, Celtic, Latin, African, Electronica, and Hip Hop. Features exhibits of green business practices, natural foods, and tools for green living. Free workshops and lectures are presented by the Solar Living Institute. SATURDAY NIGHT TECHNO-TRIBAL COMMUNITY DANCE The best dance party of the year in the North Bay happens Saturday night at the Grace pavilion. Show starts at 8PM on Saturday. The Techno-Tribal Dance features bands. DJs. performance artists, circus troupes and a laser light show. ECO-VILLAGE Over sixty booths provide educational opportunities, products, community resources, interactive exhibits, and hands-on educational tools dedicated to environmental preservation and sustainable practices. Nationally recognized experts speak from the Eco-Village stage inside the Eco-Dome sponsored by Stuart Energy. Permaculture display provided by the Permaculture Guild. Directions
Take Highway 101 to Santa Rosa. Exit 101 onto Highway 12, Eastbound, towards Sonoma. Exit Highway 12 at the Downtown exit. Upon reaching the surface street, Bennett Valley Road, you will come to a stoplight, and just in front of you on your right will be the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Proceed to the next traffic light and turn right onto Brookwood Avenue. Attendee parking will be located on the left side of the road. If you are coming by Highway 12, Westbound, take the Downtown exit, and turn left at the stoplight. This will lead you to the entrance to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The beauty of the Sonoma Wine Country provides an excellent landscape for a festival known for its natural and friendly atmosphere.
