Friday, October 12,2012: Live Music Saturday, October 13,2012: 10:00 AM- The 23rd World Championship Gumbo Cookoff’s Creole/Cajun Food Festival & Shopping Extravaganza.Booths will be cooking anything but gumbo during the lunch time zone. Dishes often include jambalaya, fried fish, corn and bisque, funnel cakes, desserts, etc.... 2:00PM – 6:00PM: Meet special guests Troy and Jacob Landry from the Swamp People™ series on HISTORY ® Live Music: 11:30 AM- 2:30 PM: Joel Martin Project 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM: Chubby Carrier and The Bayou Swamp Band 6:30 PM- 10:00 PM: Chris Ardoin Tickets will be available for purchase to the general public for food sampling.Cold drinks, beer and mixed drinks will also be available for purchase. Sunday, October 14, 2012 (9:45 AM – 3:30 PM) 23rd World Championship Gumbo Cook Off “Battle of the Rouxs” 96 booths will compete for the 23rd World Championship Gumbo Cook Off title in an amateur category and a professional category. Gumbo tasting begins at 11:00 AM Tickets will be available for purchase to the general public for gumbo sampling cold drinks, beer and mixed drinks. A variety of gumbos will be available.
