Don't miss the 24th Annual Salmon River Jet Boat Races, April 18th-20th, 2008! 3 days of action-packed fun and excitement on Idaho's legendary Salmon River! Food, Music, Boxing, and fast racing action and family entertainment all weekend long! Attracting visitors and racers from all over the U.S.! Some proceeds will go to benefit local rescue associations and local high school sports programs!
Performers
Music at boat show; Boxing matches at local establishment on Friday and Saturday nights, bands/dancing all over town both Friday and Saturday nights. Racers come from as far as Michigan, California, Canada, etc. Previous racers have come from Mexico and New Zealand...depending on the size of the purse!!

On U.S. Highway 95 approximately 150 miles north of Boise,ID, 120 Miles south of Lewiston, ID.
Times
Boat Show starts at 3 p.m. Friday, April 20th w/ BBQ at 6 p.m.; Racing starts on Saturday, April 21st at 9 a.m. MST w/ intermission at noon, then resuming at 1 p.m. and ending approximately 5 p.m.; Sunday's schedule is same as Saturday's, but less legs and racing ending at noon. Awards following at Seven Devils Steakhouse and Saloon.
