The Caribbean American Heritage Month Festival recognizes June as National Caribbean American Heritage Month. The festival is a feast for the eyes and ears, and those in attendance enjoy the great Caribbean Heritage celebration, complete with fabulous native music, exuberant cultural dancing and delicious authentic foods. The festival is open to all groups and organizations and will continues to grow as a cornerstone of tourism and a display of culture in Houston, named the most diverse city in the United States, for many years to come. Come out and enjoy various groups representing many nations of the Caribbean, Latin and Spanish Caribbean nations as took part in the festival, some adorned in their native, bright, colorful, cultural heritage customs. The festival has uniquely Caribbean flavor as our audience will be serenaded by three distinctive Caribbean sounds: Reggae, Soca and Merengue Latin-Pop and over twelve cultural performances from various groups representing the Caribbean.
Galaxy Band, Mi Rumba, Stay Diverse and several other Caribbean and Latin artists, bands, and dance groups and over 12 Cultural groups and performances.
