At 6:00 p.m. on Friday Santa Lucia arrives by horse-drawn carriage, the Great Tree is lit, Santa opens up his Gingerbread House, and the first candy cane of the season is presented to the Mayor. Enjoy carolers, roasted chestnuts, Swedish cookies, an old-fashioned candy cane pull, a live nativity, great holiday shopping and much more! Free admission event is located just blocks from the Metra Train Station.
