The 35th annual Choochokam Music and Arts Festival. The festival will be held July 12-13, 2008 in Langley, WA. With over 15,000 people in attendance last year, this year promises to be even bigger.
The festival boasts 3 stages including a main stage, family park pavilion, acoustic artists stage. Choochokam, loosely translated from the Hopi word, means “gathering of the stars”. This years festival will host 50 performers, over 100 fine artists and craftspeople and will feature the Raindance short film festival and the Whidbey Half Marathon, at this street festival in beautiful seaside Langley, just northwest of Seattle on Whidbey Island. The event is free to the public.
