An all day event in Downtown Newton, NC featuring a CityWide Yardsale in the morning. Transitioning to our Unity Day Celebration at 11. We will present a Unity Award to a deserving citizen. Musicians will celebrate their culture on the stage until 5 when we begin our summer music series called Newton Nights. Baby Black will be playing and the Elks Lodge will host a beer garden. Local merchants are hosting an art and wine crawl in downtown as well. There will be a variety of food vendors at this event featuring ethnic cuisines such as Cajun, Thai, Latino and American. Craft vendors must be selling handmade items that represent their culture. Event lasts until 9pm.
