Party on the Plaza is Houston’s most successful weekly Hispanic concert series of all times. Held in the heart of Houston’s famous theater district in Downtown, Party on the Plaza features today’s top performers in Latin music every Tuesday and Wednesday night in the spring, summer and fall. Party on the Plaza was established as an entertaining musical and cultural event to raise money for scholarship programs and local charities. To date, Party on the Plaza has raised over $350,000 for The Hispanic Scholarship Fund, The Texas Hispanic Peace Officers Association, The University of Houston Downtown, The Houston Salsa Dancers and other local Hispanic Charities. Celebrating it’s 14th year in 2008, Party on the Plaza’s provides Houston’s Hispanic communities a place to gather with friends and family to listen to live Hispanic music. An estimated 50,000 plus Hispanics will attend Party on the Plaza this year, making it a perfect destination for companies wishing to extend their reach to the Hispanic market. Tuesday’s is Tejano Tuesdays, also known as POP, and is Party on the Plaza’s flagship concert series night. Every Tuesday night, this event draws an average attendance of 2,500 plus Hispanics and features today’s top stars in Tejano, Regional-Mexican, Conjunto, Old School and Latin Hip-Hop. Wednesday’s is Latin Mix Wednesdays and is Party on the Plaza’s newest concert series night. Entering its 6th season, this event continues to grow every year and draws average attendance of 1,500 plus Latinos and features today’s upcoming stars and legends in Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Spanish Pop and Rock.
