The National Tractor Pulling Championships are held the third weekend in August each year at the Wood County Fairgrounds in Bowling Green, Ohio. The largest attended event of its venue, this championship truck and tractor pull boasts five sessions over a three-day period. These are not your everyday farming and trucking implements. Think of them as trucks and tractors on steroids. Competing divisions include 2- and 4-wheel drive trucks, pro stock, super stock, and super farm tractors, super semi trucks, and mini, limited and unlimited modified tractors all competing for cash and contingency prizes. Also on the grounds are a toy and trade show, sponsor exhibits, retired tractor museum, concessions, souvenir merchandise and an open paddock area to get up close to vehicles and competitors.
