Nominated for an International Gala Award for Best Fair/Festival, KCRiverFest is THE Summer Festival in Kansas City! Independence Day fireworks will entertain thousands on the banks of the Mighty Missouri River once again for the seventh annual KCRiverFest, a family event supporting Friends of the River – Kansas City July 2nd and 3rd. Located at Kansas City’s Riverfront at Richard Berkley Park, KCRiverFest is known as the only place in downtown Kansas City to celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks and family entertainment. The event will feature food, carnival rides and games, fireworks, exhibits, childrens activities and musical entertainment by local bands culminating in a stirring performance by the U.S. Air Force Shades of Blue Jazz Band prior to a spectacular fireworks display by Zambelli on July 3rd. A shorter, sneak peek fireworks show will be presented July 2nd.

U.S. Air Force Shades of Blue Jazz Band, Children entertainers Radio Disney Rockin Road Crew and Rockin Rob, numerous country, pop, rock and folk acts including Fast Johnny Ricker, Bluecat Creole Band, Bradley Gaskin, Brody Buster, Rich Berry, Julie Othmer, RiverRock, the Kansas City Ragtime Revelry and many more.
