he Louisiana Swamp Stomp Festival at Nicholls State University spotlights local and regional bands features a variety of south Louisiana foods offers several presentations on the history, culture, and economic development of the region and showcases artisans demonstrating their crafts and selling handmade items. The festival also features the annual Bayou French Education Program, or “Tresors du Bayou,” a popular attraction for thousands of primary and secondary school students from southeast Louisiana. Tickets on sale at the gate.
